Abolition SF

Next Friday, October 23rd, I am curating an art show in San Francisco to raise awareness about the issue of Human Trafficking.

(Did you know there are an estimated 27 million slaves worldwide?!)

There are things that regular people like you and I can do to help, and that is one of the reasons we are doing this art show.  Through the show we will be focusing on teaching those that attend about how they can help by having art that focuses on three areas:

-Intentional Shopping (buying Fair Trade)

-Personal Advocation (spreading the word that we need to abolish slavery)

-Political Involvement (which can be anything from writing a simple letter to your senator, to going to D.C. and lobbying)

Here is the artwork that my fantastic husband has created!!! (Which will be part of the show.)

What do I do when Derek is working late and Wilder is asleep? Turn to mush remembering when little W was tiny W, only 1 week old, weighed just 5.5 lbs and looked like Benjamin Button (except cute). Wow, time flies. 😍 #wildercobalt #3yearsago We spent this rainy morning looking at dinosaurs before coming home and all of us taking some epic naps. Perfect ☔️ Saturday! #wildercobalt 3 years ago today was my due date with Wilder - but instead I had a 5 week old! These last 3 years with this bundle of joy have been nothing short of amazing.
Taking my boy #wildercobalt to the #colorfactory this weekend was only fitting. 🌈💙 O R A N G E . . . !
Definitely not my favorite color in life, but this collection of objects and way of showcasing them is really speaking to me.
#colorfactory #stilllife 🦊🦁🍂💥🍊⛺️ My littlest Valentine wrote his own name on his school Valentine cards! (Of course couldn’t leave his Momma out!) 💌 | #wildercobalt
Valentines by @merimeriparty 🚀🌕⭐️ Nothing like a visit from Santa in mid-February to take your Sunday up a notch! 🎅🏻🧒🏼❤️ #wildercobalt Friday afternoons are for adventures with my little guy. We took the train to the pier > arcade > beach, where we picnicked and splashed in the ocean. ✨🌊🎡 #wildercobalt Today my dreams came true...
My son made me a Valentine. 💌✨
When his teachers explained the work project, he loved it so much he made a beeline straight for it to make me one.
BEYOND OBSESSED. 💘 #wildercobalt Creative inspiration ...! 🌈✨
#lasvegasmarket2018 #lvmkt I took this little explorer out to the Natural History Museum today to look at the dinosaurs 🦕🦖 and go wild in the gardens. Mission accomplished! ✨
